Opening Hours & Booking an Appointment

Visit our boutique to view our collections and meet the staff 5 days a week Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm. We are closed Sundays and Mondays.

Book an appointment to try on our beautiful array of gowns for any occasion in our spacious and elegant Appointment Salon.

Alternatively, call in on a Saturday and you can browse through our different designs prior to booking your appointment. We do get quite busy so an appointment is advisable but not always necessary.

Your Appointment

On arrival one of our consultants will guide you through our range of gowns and accessories. The Appointment Salon is spacious enough to accommodate a number of other people you may wish to bring along to join you in the experience of choosing the perfect gown for your day. So don't forget to ask your mum, bridesmaids or friends to join you.

We encourage you to try on lots of dresses in our large changing rooms. We only book one appointment at a time to ensure we can dedicate our time to you and so that you will feel completely relaxed.

The Dress

We offer a versatile collection of separates and gowns.

This dress is probably one of the most important dress purchases of your life so it is crucial that you find one that you not only love, but flatters your figure and suits your personality. We have a carefully selected range of dresses which can be tailored to suit your requirements. We can offer you a wide variety of styles, colours, fabric selections and excellent value for money.

Timeframes

We can provide you with a gown within 14 weeks (don't forget extra time for alterations though, normally 6 weeks). For those brides with tighter timescales we also offer express deliveries of 6 to 8 weeks and speedy alterations albeit there’s an additional charge for these services. Our aim is to ensure we accommodate your every requirement whatever you're timescale or budget. We do sell a few gowns off the peg from time to time so if you’re wedding is in 2 weeks then call in and we’ll see if we can help.

Payment

50% deposit with placement of the order and the balance on collection of products or services.

All deposits are non refundable and non transferable.
Your statutory rights are not affected.

Cash, cheques and all major credit cards accepted.

Ordering your Dress

The gowns and dresses are all ordered in accordance with the measurements taken at the time the order is placed and the designers own size charts unless otherwise agreed. Should the client change sizes, every assistance will be given to ensure the dress is redesigned to fit however no liability nor responsibility will be accepted should this not be possible. Full contact details must be given to WSL at the time of order. This information will not be passed onto third parties. A copy of WSL Data Protection Policy is available with our standard T&C’s. Please see our 'Standard Terms & Conditions of Supply and Services' which is available as a PDF document or in hard copy upon request.

Alterations

Alterations are at an additional cost and paid directly to the seamstresses. Alterations are generally when the client is in between dress sizes or more commonly requires the length altering. We use a number of independent seamstresses who are willing to meet with you at our shop for your fittings. This is obviously not obligatory and if you wish to make use of these seamstresses this must be highlighted at the time of the order to enable us to book appointments with them on your behalf.

Not only do we offer a wide range of bridal wear and accessories plus a selection of evening & prom dresses and holy communion dresses from a number of top designers, we can also provide you with hints and tips to assist you with the organisation of any aspect of your wedding and celebration plans e.g. venue bookings, cars, favours, entertainment, flowers, photographers.

Pricing

Our dress prices include UK VAT, steaming of your gown, a gown carrier and storage until your wedding date.

Cancellation & Returns Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing to the Director of Wedding Secrets Ltd. The deposit is non refundable and non transferable. A returns policy is not offered on any items unless damaged as all goods are bespoke to the client and will be approved by the client prior to taking collection of the goods. Only if the goods are found to be faulty or damaged after accepting collection may the client return the goods in accordance with our returns policy.
